Over the past 10 years the ‘Hands Up for the Planet’ voluntary team has worked (for Concern Universal and United Purpose) in primary and secondary schools in Herefordshire and the Marches providing activity based workshops on health, water, food security, energy and climate change, all in the context of international development and the United Nations Sustainability Goals. In 2021 we registered as an independent association and continue supporting local schools with their global learning curriculum. We use educational games, drama, art and active discussion to bring global issues to life in the classroom.
